Things to do with kids in Camden

Camden packs an unusual amount into a small stretch of north London, and a good deal of it is built for curious children. When the weather turns hot, Parliament Hill Lido is an outdoor pool to cool down in. The area does immersive experiences properly. Space Explorers: The ISS Experience puts you inside a full-scale virtual space station: a fully walkable 3D model of the ISS, modules to explore, real astronauts to float alongside, life aboard explained, and the first-ever spacewalk captured in cinematic VR. Outernet London, by Tottenham Court Road tube station, is free and full of immersive lights and digital visuals, which makes it a useful place to stop for a rest while the children stay entertained. Game nights and theatre run through it all. The Traitors: Live Experience steps you inside the television drama with a Round Table, a Game Master, drinks and a final debrief. Standard sessions are eighteen and over, but family sessions for ages twelve and up run Wednesday to Sunday, accompanied by an adult, which is a rare thing to find for that age group. The British Museum, Eclipso London and Matilda The Musical are listed on this page too.
