Greenwich has a strong maritime thread running through its family days out. The National Maritime Museum, Queen's House and the Old Royal Naval College are all here, and Cutty Sark, a historic clipper ship museum, runs family Easter events including an egg trail. Eltham Palace and Gardens, an art deco palace with gardens, hosts a family Easter Quest and a Halloween half term programme. Around The O2 the day turns more energetic. Clip 'n Climb is London's tallest, with one of only two 10m drop slides in the UK and Mini Mountaineer sessions for smaller climbers. Climb the O2, the IFS Cloud Cable Car and iFLY London are also listed. Hollywood Bowl offers tenpin bowling with family discounts such as half price before 10:30am during school holidays, and Haute Dolci has a chocolate fountain for a treat afterwards. The arena also stages family shows, from Disney On Ice to Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live. Younger children are catered for too. Macaroni Penguin Club is a family cafe and play space designed for younger children, and Tiny Gym at Thomas Tallis School in Blackheath and Sutcliffe Park Sports Centre both run parent and toddler sessions. Charlton Lido is the outdoor pool, and Woolwich Works is listed on this page as well.
