Things to do with kids in Trafford

Trafford is where Greater Manchester keeps several of its biggest indoor attractions. Chill Factore covers the adventurous end and iFly is indoor skydiving. LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester has interactive rides. Archie's Atomic puts skating, arcades and an interactive arena game box under one roof alongside food, which is a useful thing to have when the weather closes in and nobody can agree on a plan. The Trafford Centre is the anchor, and it programmes heavily around the seasons, so it is worth checking what is running before you travel. The Grotto is a walk-through Santa journey that runs through Gingerbread Lane, the Enchanted Forest, the Merry Makers Studio and Santa's Study to a personal visit with Father Christmas, with photo opportunities and gifts along the way. Snowstorm on Ice is a winter ice skating and circus-style stunt show with live music and comedy, and it is fully inclusive, with wheelchair-accessible seating and step-free access. Tinsel Town brings the fair itself: ice skating, a Ferris wheel, ghost trains, a carousel, a fun house and hook-a-duck. Adventure Forest runs a Spooky Halloween Party, and Santa walks the parades and pop-ups at the centre. The Polar Express is listed here too.
